摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory use amount.SOLUTION: Anencoding/decoding method includes a context determination step of determining acontext used for a target block included in an image from a plurality of contexts. In thecontext determination step, a signal type in which a control parameter of the targetblock is classified is determined, and the context is determined by using the controlparameter in which both a left block and an upper block of the target block haveencoded in a case the signal type is a first type. The context is determined by using aprefixed value without using the control parameter in which both the upper block andthe left block have encoded in a case the signal type is a second type.
