When electrical bias is applied tothe photovoltaic device, 1H-benzotriazole forms a barrier layer at the 5 metal/poly(vinylbutyral) interface, which, for example, unexpectedly virtually eliminated the yellowing ofpoly(vinyl butyral) in photovoltaic devices comprising silver components.
